Hi, I’m Austin

Growing up, I never knew what I wanted to do, or what I wanted to be. My hobbies and passions sparked quickly, they still do, and I find myself putting all my effort into learning as much as I can about whatever the topic. Hummingbird spirited.

I’m driven by creating and sharing, understanding the connections and impacts of the things we do, and by the fulfilment that comes from contributing something that nurtures or provides spark.

Out of college, I jumped from marketing job to job, through quarter to quarter, unfulfilled and unable to connect with my driving force. As my Saturn returned, I upended my career and started volunteering in the garden.

There it was. The electric feeling I was waiting for, and it came from sowing seeds on a frigid January morning. Since I’ve been committed to learning, sharing, experiencing, and really any other good verb you can image about native plants, ecological connections, and the power of nature both holistically and the impact it can have on an individual level.

It changed my life, and I am so happy to be on this journey of growing, and sharing the joy with you.
