Welcome to Flosagri

  • Native plants are the foundation of healthy ecosystems and offer countless benefits for both the environment and your garden.

By planting native species, you are restoring the habitat that once dominated these lands before urbanization, and significantly supporting local wildlife.

Native plants are also adapted to the unique climate and soil conditions of the Hudson Valley, making gardening simpler and more empowering.

Lastly, native plants are breathtaking - flaunting vibrant colors, extraordinary heights, and unique textures.

There is a native plant for every one of your places.

  • As the Hudson Valley community grows, so does the need for ecologically-sound landscaping practices.

By choosing native plants, you're helping to restore and protect local habitats, preserve biodiversity, and heal our fractured environment.

Everyone can plant and steward native plants successfully, regardless of experience. It is about slowing down, listening to nature, and working with the conditions given.

At FlosAgri, we are committed to making native plants more accessible to our community.

We sell our plants at local farmers' markets and offer personalized advice to help you select the best plants for your space.

  • Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, we’re here to help you make your space thrive with native plants that are stunning, sustainable, and in harmony with the natural world.

  • Native plant gardening gives us a direct way to combat biodiversity loss, even without much gardening experience.

Looking for even more ways to get involved? Don’t live in New York? Organizations like Wild Ones, a national non-profit bringing together home gardeners, is a great place to start. They have local chapters all around the country where you can volunteer your time, meet other like-minded folks, and learn about and create native habitats.

Another good place to start is Homegrown National Park, a grass-roots call to action offering loads of free resources to help you start your own native habitat and place it on a national map.

Native plant gardens are a protest against outdated gardening standards and practices. Benjamin Vogt at Monarch Gardens is a leader in the space and offers a bounty of resources. Kill your lawn, plant natives, and fight the HOA!
